Golden Retrievers -- "Retrievers"
History: The notorious Golden Retriever was first encountered near Glen Affric in Scotland. When it first was encountered, Golden Retrievers were more popular among the higher class rather than middle or lower. Since becoming known, any common descendent were still unknown; however, they believe it to be originated from the Russian Tracker breed. This breed was extremely popular as a gun dog(hunting dog). The reason they were bred was so the public could have a dog that would retrieve the kill; either it be in water or on land. Through this method, a lot of kills were found and not left around. Known to retrieve their master kills; this is how it got its name “retriever”. After becoming such a popular breed it took till 1913 to finally be accepted by the United Kennel Club. It wasn’t till another 14 years later when the bred was recognized in America, in 1925 and start to be accepted in other places.
Why Retrievers Make Great Pets: When looking for the perfect family orientated dog, the Golden Retriever is the perfect companion to get. Golden Retrievers live approximately to12 years old so you'll always have your friend with you at your side. Owning a Golden Retriever has a lot of ups; the retriever is perfect for a families with young children. Their extremely patient with the child; therefore, you'll never have to worry about an incident happening. Another up for family with children is that when you child wants to play this dog is right along with them. After getting so close to your dog, you'll realize that this dog becomes a very loyal family member. Golden Retrievers love to be outside, play and be active. Even if you have another animal this breed will never have any issues with them; this breed is just a large fur ball of love and compassion.
Health Problems: When it comes to owning any breed of dog, there will be complication that could happen. Owning a Golden Retriever may be easy but when it comes to health issues its hard to figure out what's actually wrong with them; most of heath problems are genetically based. The most common health issues with this breed would be cancer; the type of cancer they acquire is called Hemangiosarcoma. This breed is also prone to many diseases such as cataracts, subvalvular aortic stenosis and cardiomyopathy and even dermatitis. Many of this breeds issues can be prevented; if you regularly have your dog test then they could drastically save your friend.

Siberian Husky --" Husky"
History: The Siberian Husky has been on Earth for a long period of time; among the Siberian Husky there are two other dogs in which it shares the same decedent. Their common decedent has not been named; however, in 2014 DNA analysis confirmed there shared decedent is the oldest breed of dogs. Siberian Huskies are originally from the northern hemisphere in the area of Siberia, Canada, Alaska, Greenland and the Baffin Island. With living in the Northern Hemisphere, Huskies were commonly used as sled dogs to get to point A to point B. They were also used as Rescue unit dog during WWII for a more efficient search. Consequently, in 1930 the exportation of the dog from Siberia Halted because they were coming close to being extinct. In that same year, the Siberian Husky was recognized by the American Kennel Club. When they were finally Recognized they were known as the “Arctic Husky”until 1991 when the United Kennel Club changed it to Siberian Husky. Since then the Siberian Husky rose from 16th to the 14th popular breed in 2013.
Why Huskies Make Great Pets: If you have a family or want to have a family this is dog to go with to be your little ones companion. They are very good natured with people and even other dogs so you don't have to worry about aggression at all. These dogs love the outdoors and the cold so when your child wants to play they have a personal buddy to be with them on their adventures. What's great about with having the dog playing with all the children is that all the exercise they get will be enough. Even if you don't plan on having children this dog is perfect. They are loyal and very athletic. The bestest aspect about owning a Siberian Husky whether you have a family or not is that, they will live about 12-15 years so you have a lot of time to get to know your companion.
Health Problems: With owning any dog you will experience some health problems they acquire. Owning a Husky can be tricky knowing whats wrong with them because their health issues are genetic. The Consequences of owning a Husky is that they have a lot of health issues; however, they can be prevented with veterinarian visit, exercise and food content. Huskies are prone to experience seizures, defects of the eye and even Cogenial Laryngeal Paralysis(Nerves and muscles cease to function). They are also prone to Gastric Disease, Bronchitis, Ulcerations and a skin condition called Zinc Responsive Dermatitis. Something uncommon for a Husky to get is Hip dysplasia but it is best to look for symptoms because it is a larger size dog.

Pit Bulls-- "Nanny Dog"
History: Pit bulls have been around since WWI. They were known as the “Nanny Dog” in the 1800’s but recently have gotten a bad name. In 1898, United Kennel Club finally recognized pit bulls or as known as “Bull Terrier” an official breed. Just a few years as being recognized as a breed, the military chose a pit bull for their WWI propaganda poster because they were highly respected.
Why Pit bulls make great pets: This breed would make an outstanding pet for anyone because are affectionate companions. They love to lick (kiss); cuddle and even wiggle their tails and butt. Owning a pit bull is easy because their easy to care for. They are a short haired breed so you only need to brush then semi- regularly. When bathing a pit bull, just bathe as necessary and then towel dry. Pit bulls are commonly known to shedders but it not tremendously bad. The greatest thing about own a Pit bull is that they are people orientated. You never have to worry about them attacking guest or even children. Also they are very loyal so they will always stay by your side. For families with children this be the dog to get because they have a high pain tolerant. So when your children are playing around and getting rough it won’t bother them at all; they gradually except it with happiness.
Health Facts: When getting a paper you don’t have to worry about losing your best friend. Pit bulls lifespan is about 12 years old but they can live to be a lot older than that. Throughout their lifespan, you could experience have 5-10 more pit bull puppies running around you house. Pit bulls can experience different health problems throughout their life but they never truly come till they get older. Some health problems they could acquire would be Hip dysplasia; hereditary cataracts; allergies to grass and even Congenital Heart disease. However, You don’t have to worry about any of these health problems till their older so all you have to do is enjoy your time with you best friend/ baby.
